As required by Canadian law, all compressed air purification products or equipment operating under pressure in Canada must be either pressure vessel or fittings approved (whichever applies) for use in every province where the product is being installed and operated. CAG Technologies is one of the few companies in the compressed air industry that strives in obtaining the appropriate approval for our products.
All provinces have their own safety authority that is responsible for evaluating compressed air products in order to ensure that they meet the required safety standards as stated in the CSA B51-09 and ASME B31.3 guidelines for pressure vessels and fittings. CAG is constantly working on approvals for all of our new products and re-certifying older mainline products which have expired. In the event that we do not have the approval for a product for a specific province we are able to submit the required documentation to the appropriate safety authority for approval. The recognized safety authorities responsible for providing pressure vessel and fittings approvals in Canada are as follows:
TSSA - ONTARIO
BCSA - BRITISH COLUMBIA
ABSA - ALBERTA
ACI CENTRAL - PEI, NS, NB, NFLD, LAB, YK, NWT, NU
CSA STANDARDS - QC, MB, SK
